Collapsing Monuments
Collapsing Monuments
Collapsing Monument is a performance, manifested in sound, that reflects ongoing conversations between Ivanco Talevski and Vasko Dukovski. The visual works in Proposals for Monuments act as a score for Dukovski’s search for, and development of, new sounds. The performance is driven by a sense of urgency to articulate form, in a continuous state of collapse and endless revision, that emphasizes the difference between prescribed and actual freedom.

The  performance Collapsing Monument, by Vasko Dukovski took place on April 1st, 2016 at the opening of the Proposals for Monuments exhibition at Napoleon in Philadelphia.
